Manchester United consider sacking Cristiano Ronaldo

Manchester United could decide to sack Cristiano Ronaldo after his bombshell interview with Piers Morgan for TalkTV.

According to the Daily Mail, lawyers will continue to study Ronaldo’s claims to see if they constitute a breach of his contract, with United exploring ways to sack the 37-year-old striker.

Ronaldo had thus far made a series of allegations against the club such as betrayal and trying to force him out of the club. He also took aim at former United team-mates Wayne Rooney and Gary Neville for what can only be described as constructive criticism.

What Ronaldo fails to understand is that nobody is bigger than the club. As a result, he is having to find out the hard way.

United must wait to see the interview in full before making their final call, but after stating he has no respect for the manager, there is no way back as far as I’m concerned.

Ronaldo has risked ruining the environment Erik ten Hag is trying to build on too many occasions. Now it’s time to go.

Hopefully, United and Ronaldo can come to a solution without too much noise in the background. It has felt like the CR7 circus for too long.

  1. Clear for some time he wants out – this sorry show is a desperate attempt to achieve that. He won’t care if contract cancelled by mutual agreement ( you can’t ‘tear up’ a contract ) or if he’s sacked.
Thanks for the many, many, good memories CR7, real shame how it’s going to end.

  2. Just leat him train alone until summer. Don’t give in. If he want to play hardball, let him feel what a hardbal feels like
