BVB table contract offer for 17-year-old striker attracting interest from Manchester United

Borussia Dortmund have tabled a new contract offer for Youssoufa Moukoko amid interest from Manchester United and Liverpool. 

The 17-year-old is lighting up the Bundesliga this season and is in prolific form for the German side.

In just 13 matches, he has scored six and assisted three goals.

Moukoko progressed through the Dortmund ranks at academy level after hitting outstanding numbers for the youth teams.

In the 2019/2020 campaign, he scored a remarkable 34 goals in only 20 games. The following season he netted 10 goals in four matches before the club decided it was time to promote him to the first team.

According to SportBild via Keven Bader, several clubs have shown interest in signing the forward, including United and Liverpool.

Amid the interest, Dortmund have offered their starlet a new contract proposal, which may be signed on November 20 when the German turns 18. Moukoko’s current deal is set to expire in the summer of 2023.

United should pursue Moukoko

The Red Devils are a club renowned for developing young talents into world-class stars, and Moukoko is already halfway there. He is already a starter, although it may take time for the teenager to adjust to the pace of the Premier League, should he make the switch.

He would be an exciting prospect for the squad and am excellent option to have when chasing a goal.
