Manchester United’s Marc Skinner has been nominated for October Manager of the Month.
Skinner’s side suffered their first defeat of the season on Sunday – losing 3-1 against WSL champions Chelsea at Leigh Sports Village —but he has been credited for his hard work, which has put United in a strong position at the start of the season.
He was nominated again in September but the award went to Aston Villa manager Carla Ward.
Other nominees include Jonas Eidevall, Denise Reddy and Gareth Taylor.
We wish Skinner the best of luck with the award, but everyone wants to see him achieve qualification to the Champions League this season. That is the real objective right now.
