Footage shows that Alejandro Garnacho asked Cristiano Ronaldo if he could copy his celebration after scoring his debut Manchester United goal.

The Argentinian netted the opener United’s final Europa League group-stage game against Real Sociedad on Thursday evening, just one week after making his senior debut.

Garnacho has been prolific for United at youth level, winning the FA Youth Cup with the side, and has featured in short cameos throughout the season.

He was assisted by his idol Ronaldo to make it 1-0 and seemingly asked the five-time Ballon d’Or winner if he could reenact his latest signature celebration.
