Manchester United’s Zidane Iqbal has been named in the 34-man Iraq squad for their upcoming friendly matches against Mexico and Ecuador.

The young midfielder has yet to make an appearance for United this season, but hopefully he will get minutes in the cup competitions because we know Iqbal is a player Erik ten Hag rates highly.

Iqbal has 2 caps for Iraq and will be aiming to add to that during the next international break.

Iraq will not be competing at this year’s World Cup.
