Cristiano Ronaldo was shown leaving the pitch early after being an unused substitute for Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur.
It was since been confirmed by The Athletic that not only did Ronaldo just leave the pitch, he departed Old Trafford entirely, without seeing out the win or congratulating his teammates.

The 37-year-old was seemingly disappointed at not featuring for United as they displayed potentially their best performance under Erik ten Hag so far.
The players reportedly did not register Ronaldo’s absence amid their celebrations of a hard-earned three points.
Ronaldo has fallen out of favour under the Dutchman and made only his second start of the season against Newcastle last weekend due to injuries to Ten Hag’s preferred strikers, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford. The Englishman had fallen ill before the match but was able to make a short cameo in place of Ronaldo in the later stages of the game, which ended goalless.
Ronaldo has one-year remaining on contract
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s contract expires at the conclusion of 2022/2023 season. There is an option for a one-year extension, but it has to be mutually agreed by both the player and the club if he were to stay.
