Alvaro Fernandez was voted Manchester United U23s player of the year last season and a decision was made during the summer to send the young left-back on loan to Preston North End.
The young Spaniard has done well in the Championship to manage four assists from 10 matches in all competitions. His reputation is growing, and it is even making Spanish press, with AS giving their own take on the defender.
It is suggested that there are decisions needed when Fernandez returns to Manchester United because he will have just one year left on his contract at that point.
Preston are currently 8th in the Championship and Fernandez will be hoping he can help the team push for promotion to the Premier League, like James Garner did at Nottingham Forest last season.
AS claim United are rubbing their hands together when it comes to the young full-back.
