Ten Hag nominated for September’s Premier League Manager of the Month award

Erik ten Hag has been nominated for the Premier League Manager of the month award for September.

Our manager has been nominated alongside Tottenham Hotspur’s Antonio Conte and Bournemouth’s Gary O’Neil, who is currently in charge on an interim basis.

It was a successful month for the Red Devils as we continued our winning form in the league with victories over Leicester City and Arsenal. That means we go into October’s Manchester derby on a four-man winning streak, so things look brighter than they did in August.

Erik ten Hag will want to close the gap on Arsenal and Manchester City, but his main objective will be to get United back into the top four.

Away from the league, this month also saw the return of the Europa League. United lost their first game against Real Sociedad but turned things around to beat FC Sheriff a week later.

It has been a decent start to the season but the fixtures coming up will be tough.
