Manchester United trio miss training ahead of FC Sheriff clash

Three Manchester United players were noticeably missing from training this morning as the team prepare to take on Moldovan opponents FC Sheriff in the Europa League.

BBC reporter Simon Jordan claims Marcus Rashford, Donny van de Beek and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are all missing from training.

That is likely to mean that none of that trio will travel to Moldova later today, therefore, they will be ruled out of tomorrow night’s game when Erik ten Hag addresses the media this evening.

Rashford has been absent from training all week, as per the Manchester Evening News, and it is believed he has a minor hamstring problem. It will be interesting to see if he earns a recall to the England national side for the upcoming Nations League games, but hopefully he can use the upcoming break as an opportunity to get ready for taking on Manchester City away from home.

Meanwhile, Van de Beek has been out of the squad for a few weeks. He was spotted meeting some old friends at Ajax’s UEFA Youth League defeat against Liverpool on Tuesday.

Nobody knows what issues Wan-Bissaka has other than not being a compatible full-back in Ten Hag’s system.

We’ll have updates from the press conference this evening.
