Preview: Manchester United vs Arsenal

Manchester United will be looking to make it four wins in a row when they take on Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The Reds go into the game on the back of a 1-0 victory over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium midweek whilst the Gunners ran out 2-1 winners over Aston Villa at the Emirates.

New signing Casemiro could be handed his first start in a United shirt against Arsenal on Sunday whilst Cristiano Ronaldo could also start after coming off the bench and impressing against Leicester during the week.

Having endured a disappointing start to the new season, it’s been a much improved past couple of weeks or so for Erik ten Hag and Manchester United. Three consecutive wins in a row against Liverpool, Southampton and Leicester City has given us reasons to be optimistic heading into the next game.

However, Arsenal have enjoyed a fabulous start to the season winning all five Premier League games to date. It’s been the Gunners best start to a season for almost twenty years and in order for United to beat Arsenal we will no doubt have to be at our very best.

Odegaard, Jesus and Martinelli are arguably Arsenal’s biggest threats and for us to get the three points its vital we keep that trio quiet.

Games against Arsenal in the past have always been entertaining affairs and I expect Sunday to no different. Both teams will fancy their chances of getting something out of this and although Arsenal are in terrific form I am quietly confident United will beat Arsenal on Sunday. We have the players in Rashford, Sancho, Fernandes and co to cause Arsenal real problems and I wouldn’t back against United coming out on top here albeit it will be very close.

Prediction: Manchester United 3-2 Arsenal
