Predicted Manchester United XI vs Arsenal: Casemiro and Ronaldo to start

Manchester United made it three wins on the bounce in the Premier League against Leicester City. Now the attention turns to beating Arsenal.

The Gunners have a 100 per cent record this season but I don’t think they will be confident of getting a win at Old Trafford. I’m sure their fans will be feeling that the boat could easily get rocked on their trip up north.

Without further ado, here’s the Stretty News predicted line-up to face Arsenal later today.

Goalkeeper

David de Gea keeps his place.

Defence

Like I said last week, Erik ten Hag has no reason to change his back four. Diogo Dalot, Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez and Tyrell Malacia have been excellent in recent weeks.

Midfield

It’s time for Casemiro’s debut and I think it would be harsh to drop Scott McTominay based on his current form, so the Scotland international will start along with Bruno Fernandes. You could argue that it would be harsh to drop Christian Eriksen after his man of the match display against Leicester City, but this game might come too soon for the Dane.

Attack

I have a feeling Cristiano Ronaldo will lead the line against Arsenal, with Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford cutting in from the flanks.

SN’s predicted line-up: De Gea; Dalot, Varane, Martinez, Malacia; Casemiro, McTominay, Fernandes; Sancho, Ronaldo, Rashford.
