(Video) Jadon Sancho tiptoes through Leicester defence to give United lead

Manchester United are starting to look like an efficient outfit after a tricky start to the season.

Jadon Sancho can be included in that analysis and it is thanks to the former Borussia Dortmund winger that United have the lead at the King Power Stadium. Leicester started the match well, forcing Scott McTominay, Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez into some neat interventions early on.

However Erik ten Hag’s side have been able to escape down the right often through Antony Elanga and it was from there that the Red Devils took the lead. Bruno Fernandes popped up on the right side and his ball to Marcus Rashford was touched into the path of Sancho.

Sancho showed expert composure to nip ahead of the goalkeeper Danny Ward and roll the ball into the back of the net. It might not have been the perfect start to the match but ten Hag will be mightily pleased with that move.
