As supporters prepare to protest before Monday’s showdown against Liverpool, filmmaker John Gubba has put together a montage of previous demonstrations organised by The 1958 fan group.
Despite the latest transfer activity and the arrival of Casemiro from Real Madrid, fans are incensed by the owners’ refusal to sell the club. The message is loud and clear: It’s ‘No to Apollo’ and the Glazers’ attempt to sell a minority stake in the club that would ease the owners’ cashflow problems.
