Manchester United have had a poor afternoon so far.
The Red Devils, led by new manager Erik ten Hag, are in action against Graham Potter’s Brighton and Hove Albion at Old Trafford.
Despite naming a strong starting 11, which included two new signings (Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez), ten Hag has been forced to watch on as the Seagulls lead two nil.
However, looking to forge an unlikely comeback, the former Ajax boss will be delighted to see his new team halve Sunday’s opponent’s lead.
The goal, which was influenced by right-back Diogo Dalot, is likely to go down as an own goal, but we’ll take it.
It’s messy but it counts – Man Utd pull one back! 🔴
