Cristiano Ronaldo reacts after returning to the Manchester United team for Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Rayo Vallecano.
After being substituted at half-time, Ronaldo took it upon himself to leave Old Trafford early – before the full-time whistle was blown.
Acting like there is nothing strange about leaving a game early, Ronaldo tweeted after the game, writing: “Happy to be back.”

Not happy enough to stay around as a mark of respect for his team-mates, though.
At 37, Ronaldo still has a lot of growing up to do.
It will be interesting to see if he is in the squad to face Brighton next Sunday.
