We have seen the links to Atletico Madrid but they would have to sell more players in the transfer market to make room for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.

On the same show, the respected journalist went on to speak about Erik ten Hag’s pre-season implementations and the ongoing Frenkie de Jong saga.

It will raise questions for Ten Hag about whether he would keep a player of Ronaldo’s ego against his will.

That could have unwanted knock-on effects at a time everyone is talking about how the improved atmosphere within the dressing room.

  1. An absolute legend in the club but this, personally, has left a dent on that status. There’s a reason why no club wants him. He scores 20+ goals a season while the rest of the team suffers. The club should grant him his demand if a suitable buyer comes along but I honestly don’t see how he would fit into this team. Pre-season showed the mobility of United’s triumvirate attack. Let’s be honest, Ronaldo isn’t going to press to save his life. Keeping him would massively derail Tony and Jadon’s progress. Worst, it could make for an incoherent dressing room.

    1. Naaa, not a legend anymore. just a spoiled brat!
If I could, I would let him rot in reserves until his contract expires!
