Fulham announce Andreas Pereira transfer with four-year deal

Andreas Pereira has completed his summer transfer from Manchester United to newly promoted Premier League outfit Fulham.

The news first broke this morning thanks to Fabrizio Romano, who stated Andreas Pereira had already signed his Fulham contract and that everything was in place for the deal to be announced.

Fulham then went on to officially announced the transfer.

Speaking to Fulham’s official website, Pereira said: “I’m very happy to be here and I can’t wait to start the season with Fulham.

“I want to help Fulham as much as I can to be where they belong. Marco Silva was very important for this. I spoke a lot with him, and he was a key factor in me being here.”

Romano reported an agreement between United and Fulham for Pereira’s sale which guarantees a sum worth £10 million plus an additional £3m in bonuses. I don’t think anyone at Old Trafford will be complaining about that, so John Murtough will get some credit for striking a deal that works for all parties involved.

Pereira is now tied down to Fulham for four years with an option to extend his stay by a further season.

The Brazil international has been at United since he was 16. We’d like to take the time to wish him the best in the Premier League – but not when United take on Fulham!
