Most of the Manchester United squad are on their travels for this summer’s pre-season tour with Erik ten Hag as manager.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been granted additional time off to deal with a family issue that has prevented him from training this week, amid claims he wishes to leave Old Trafford for a second time this summer. That means he will not travel to Thailand with the rest of the players, who are set to depart from Manchester airport.

New signing Tyrell Malacia has been included in the 31-man squad named by Ten Hag, but sadly Christian Eriksen has yet to complete his transfer to the club, meaning the Dutch left-back might be the only new face in the opening friendly march against Liverpool next Tuesday.
The other most notable absentees include Phil Jones, Brandon Williams and Andreas Pereira. It wouldn’t surprise me if all three left the club this summer, so it probably doesn’t make much sense giving them any game time on tour when other players need it.
While the likes of Alvaro Fernandez, Shola Shoretire, Teden Mengi and Di’Shon Bernard will remain in Manchester ahead of potential loan exits.
