Over half a dozen Manchester United players have already left the club this summer in what is shaping up to be a major clearout by new boss Erik ten Hag. Six players have left on free transfers, with Dean Henderson’s move to Nottingham Forest on loan confirmed last week.
Now, another departure is on the verge of being completed after Manchester United reached an agreement with newly-promoted Fulham over the sale of Andreas Pereira.
Pereira spent last season on loan at Flamengo and impressed over the season-long arrangement, attracting the interest of Fulham.

According to The Athletic, the London club have had a £10m bid accepted for the Brazilian, with £8m guaranteed plus an additional £2m in add-ons. Furthermore, United will retain a 20% sell-on clause.
SN’s verdict…
Pereira has just one year remaining on his contract at Old Trafford and considering his slim chances of breaking into the side, a £10m fee is good business.
United are light in midfield but despite the lack of numbers, there was very little hope of Pereira realistically challenging United’s senior midfielders.
Following two loan spells at Lazio and Flamengo, it does feel like it’s the right time to part ways and Fulham should prove to be a good move for the Brazilian.
