Manchester United duo Harry Maguire and David de Gea were spotted together at Old Trafford tonight as Sarina Wiegman’s England side kicked off Euro 2022 against Austria.
The Lionesses started the tournament with a 1-0 win in front of a record-breaking crowd for a Women’s Euros game, as per FourFourTwo.
Austria are ranked 21st in FIFA’s world rankings and went into the fixture in good form after an impressive 1-0 victory over Belgium in their final warm-up match last week.
England, on the other hand, went into the tournament on the back of 12 wins from 14 matches under Wiegman.
Maguire and De Gea were stood together before the match, as pictured below:

De Gea was one of the first players to return for pre-season training last week because he didn’t have any involvement in Spain’s matches following the domestic season. Meanwhile,
Maguire returned a week later and will be aiming to set the record straight and a terrible 2021/22 campaign.
