Fulham attempt to hijack Flemango move with €10m bid for Andreas Pereira

Fulham are reportedly trying to sign Andreas Pereira.

That is according to a recent report from UOL Espote journalist Marcelo Hazan, who claims the newly promoted Premier League side have offered Manchester United £8.6 million (€10m) for the Brazil international.

Pereira joined United from PSV Eindhoven’s academy back in 2012 and has since come through the ranks, although he has been unable to cement his place in the starting line-up.

His career has stagnated following a string of loan moves, but Pereira looked set to stay at Flamengo, where he is considered a regular in the team.

Flamengo could now miss out on a move for Pereira with Fulham weighing in on the midfielder.

Moreover, he is a player Erik ten Hag should look to sell this summer to raise funds for the transfer window.

There is no denying that Pereira is surplus to requirements at Old Trafford, but it would be interesting to see him at another Premier League club. He should still become a brilliant signing for a club like Fulham but only time will tell.
