Leeds United winger Raphinha is a wanted man.
After narrowly missing out on relegation last season, Leeds don’t have many players you would happily take to Old Trafford – bar Kalvin Phillips – but there is definitely an argument that could be raised for Raphinha.
The Brazilian almost singlehandedly kept his team in the Premier League with 11 goals and three assists, missing just three league games, and has become a regular in the national team over the last 12 months.
As things stand, Erik ten Hag doesn’t have a senior right winger in his squad, and some fans will like the idea of Raphinha at least being a target this summer.
Maybe even as a back-up option to Ajax star Antony.

According to Spanish newspaper Sport, Raphinha’s agent Deco has received several phone calls from United and suggest our proposed offer couldn’t be matched by fellow suitors Barcelona.
However, it is believed that the player’s agent is keen to take the 25-year-old to Camp Nou, while Ten Hag views Antony as his preferred target for the right flank.
Raphinha has been linked with a move to Camp Nou for months, so maybe this is an attempt from Spanish media to tell Barcelona to hurry up on the transfer front.
Of course, the La Liga giants could free up funds for new signings by selling United target Frenkie de Dong, with a fresh offer expected to be tabled in the coming days.
