Report from Italy claims Manchester United have ‘concrete’ interest in Milinkovic-Savic

Manchester United are reportedly among the frontrunners to sign Lazio sensation Sergej Milinkovic-Savic this summer.

The Serbian is heavily linked with a move away from Lazio this summer and United are one of the three clubs named as a potential destination in a recent Calciomercato report.

The other two clubs include Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.

Milinkovic-Savic is described as the “best midfielder in the Italian league” in the report, which rules out the possibility of the Serbia international staying in Rome for another season.

It won’t be a cheap deal to strike because Lazio have demands in the transfer market and they will struggle to land their targets without the sale of their star midfielder.

Meanwhile, United’s interest is described as ‘concrete’ so he could be seen as a potential replacement for Paul Pogba, but one that could cost €80 million to lure away from Serie A.
