(Video) “It’s a mess” – Robbie Savage gives damning verdict of Manchester United after Arsenal defeat

Robbie Savage reflected on another terrible afternoon for Manchester United by calling the club, in its current state, a “mess”.

You won’t find many United fans that will disagree with that statement. It’s been an underwhelming season and we are now out of the race for the top four, after losing our last four away matches in the Premier League.

Savage points out that a lot of players are playing for themselves and it doesn’t help that so many of our players know they will be elsewhere next season. It shows when you see the overall lack of effort on the pitch – in comparison to other teams.

“A lot of players are playing for themselves, it’s a mess,” Savage told BT Sport.

He added how Cristiano Ronaldo stuck to his side of the bargain in the summer, scoring 22 goals this season. Savage had a dig at Ronaldo’s critics for suggesting he is the problem at United.

“Ronaldo stuck to his side of the bargain, 22 goals, and people say he is the problem?”

We totally agree with Savage. It’s a complete mess.
