We are getting closer to an official announcement with Erik ten Hag set to become the manager at Manchester United.
Ten Hag is on the cusp of a third Eredivisie title, but he has an almighty job on his hand to turn things around at Manchester United, with a team that has not won a trophy in five years.
Earlier this week, reliable football journalist Fabrizio Romano said a deal for Ten Hag was almost complete, with the Red Devils and Ajax in talks over his £2 million compensation package.

An announcement is expected soon.
Interestingly, Ten Hag was pictured at his agency (SEG) office today, with images posted on Twitter by @TheEuropeanLad, who is prestigious Ajax supporter on the social network.
Bad pic but a friend of mine just spotted him in the building where SEG is located😂 pic.twitter.com/jWP6bzmqt1

Hopefully they had a meeting over the official announcement in a push to get it over the line.
I also think United will be looking to get a deal announced soon in attempt to deflect from a disappointing season, but fans won’t be fooled until they see change from the very top of the club.
The club is broken thanks to the Glazer family.
