Anthony Elanga has been rewarded for his stellar first-team contributions this season with a first Sweden call-up.

The 19-year-old has been a shining light during a difficult campaign for Manchester United and he is now set to experience playing senior football on the international stage.

Sweden take on the Czech Republic in their play-offs as they look to secure qualification for the Qatar World Cup, which kicks off later this year.

Elanga has a bright future in the game and Sweden will be looking to make the most of that.

And now it seems like qualification for Sweden could lead to Elanga’s first senior international tournament!

The Manchester United starlet has been pictured training with the senior Sweden squad for the first time, and we’re sure his United team-mate Victor Lindelof will be keeping an eye out for him.

It would be fantastic to see Elanga make his international debut this time around, but he knows from his time at United that patience is key.
