Jamie Carragher reaffirmed his bold suggestion that Manchester United should move in for Thomas Tuchel.
The former Liverpool defender wrote a column this week suggesting that Tuchel is the perfect fit for United should he become available to manage us next season.
Today on Sky Sports, Carragher stood by his idea that United should target Tuchel as their next manager.
He said: “I think it is realistic. If you’re Manchester United why would you not ask that question?”

Chelsea are feeling the pressure following sanctions imposed by the UK government, leading Carragher to question the future of their manager who has been a big hit during his time in England.
Mauricio Pochettino and Erik ten Hag are seen as the frontrunners for the job, but there’s always room for competition, and I’m sure a lot of United fans would be excited by the prospect of Tuchel dumping Chelsea for United.
The German brought the Champions League to Stamford Bridge in his first season at the club.
