(Video) Brandon Williams explains hugging Christian Eriksen after feisty tackle

Manchester United loanee Brandon Williams was initially furious when a Brentford player hauled him to the ground at the weekend. He quickly forgave the player in question after realising it was Denmark sensation Christian Eriksen.

The hilarious incident took place on Saturday at Carrow Road.

Williams, who has played well in a struggling Norwich City side this season, got past Eriksen but the Dane didn’t want him getting away.

The United loanee proceeds to grab the shirt of Eriksen, but he quickly opts to hug the former Spurs midfielder after relaising it was him that pulled the shirt.

Williams has been asked about the moment when he hugged Eriksen, saying: “Really happy to see him back. I was going to hold him [as he fell down] but then I know what he’s been through. I felt like he needed a hug.”

Last month, Eriksen made his first appearance since suffering a cardiac arrest eight months ago, after joining Brentford in the January transfer window.

The world definitely needs more hugs right now.
