(Video) Rangnick explains what Man United need to do to beat Watford

Manchester United are preparing to host Watford in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils will welcome the Hornets to Old Trafford off the back of a mid-week European encounter against Atletico Madrid and interim boss Ralf Rangnick will be demanding better performance.

Although United came away from the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium on Wednesday night with a hard-fought 1-1 draw, the side was far from their best.

With his attention turned to another domestic tie, this time against Roy Hodgson’s relegation-threatened Watford, Rangnick, who has recently named his starting 11, explained what his team must do if they’re to come away with all three points.

“We have to control the game in possession,” Rangnick told MUTV. “At the same time make sure they don’t get transitional moments because this is their biggest weapon.

“This is the way that they try to play, so for us, it is about both having control in possession of the ball and making sure that we have the best possible defence.”
