The talent pool is bubbling at Carrington with the news Cristiano Ronaldo Jr has joined the Manchester United academy.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s 11-year-old son has followed in his father’s footsteps by putting pen to paper at Manchester United, and he is set to wear the iconic No 7 shirt.

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr was pictured holding his shirt alongside his young brothers and sisters, as well as his father’s partner Georgina Rodriguez, who proudly shared pictures of the moment via Instagram.

She captioned her post: ‘Pursuing our dreams together. Mom loves you.’

The youngster left Juventus’ academy last summer following the family’s departure from Turin.
