Manchester United missed their chance to record back-to-back victories in the Premier League as a struggling Burnley contained the Reds at Old Trafford.

Erik ten Hag’s men spurned a host of chances throughout the game but when Antony opened the scoring in the 79th minute, it looked like United had stolen all three points.

But just minutes later, a farcical penalty decision went Burnley’s way and the visitors levelled the score, leaving United with little to no time to score a winner.

Man United Player Ratings

Andre Onana – 9
Kept United in the game at times and made some remarkable saves. United’s best player in the second half of the season.

Diogo Dalot – 6
An alright performance.

Harry Maguire – 6
Some poor decision-making at times could have ended a lot worse.

Casemiro – 5
You have to wonder what he was thinking with that header that preceded the penalty incident.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 5
Uncharacteristically passive with his defending, almost allowing Burnley to walk the ball into the box at times.

Kobbie Mainoo – 6
It’s become a regular occurrence to see him taken off early in second halves. His performances are not the problem.

Christian Eriksen – 7
First half, in particular, he was behind most of United’s good attacking moves.

Bruno Fernandes – 6
A small comedown from a serious hot streak on the pitch.

Alejandro Garnacho – 7
United’s most dangerous outlet.

Antony – 8
Without a doubt, his best performance of the season so far.

Rasmus Hojlund – 6
Going through another tough spell on the pitch.

  1. No way Antony is 8. Maybe a 6. Yes his best game but he could only get better after past performances. Onana a 7. Yes he saved a couple of goals but reacted too late to Casemiro’s header for him to catch. Was no need to try to punchball away. Gave away needless penalty.

  2. A 9 at home to Burnley, giving away a peno for the draw 😂😂😂😂😂

And Antony an 8 ahhhhhhh hahahaha hahaha hahaha haha.

    Classic.
