(Video) Rangnick unhappy to see a second goal chalked off against Burnley

Manchester United’s fighting spirit came under questioning following their disappointing 1-1 draw with Burnley at Turf Moor on Tuesday night.

United, who dropped out of the top four as a result of failing to win a third successive league game on the bounce, took the lead with less than 20 minutes on the clock thanks to Paul Pogba.

But United couldn’t find that second goal. Well, they could, without making it count.

However, it was the second goal that overruled that annoyed Ralf Rangnick most in his post-match assessment, telling BT Sport: “The linesman flagged foul but he flagged it 10 seconds after that incident!”

He added: “This was a very soft decision, I must say.”

Burnley saw the ball hit the back of their net three times in the first-half.

Then, in the second half, Jay Rodriguez made it 1-1 after some slack defending helped him net his 100th Premier League goal.
