Confirmed Manchester United XI vs Burnley: Cavani starts ahead of Ronaldo

Ralf Rangnick has named his starting eleven to face Burnley tonight in the Premier League, with Cristiano Ronaldo named on the bench.

Manchester United will be looking to get back to winning ways after crashing out of the FA Cup on Friday night, but the less said about that the better.

In the league we are looking to build momentum in order to finish in the top four. It would be great if we could drag Chelsea into that race with a couple of consecutive wins under our belt.

However, in Burnley, we are facing arguably the worst side in the Premier League this season. The fact we’ve struggled with complacency at times this season fills me with some doubt but United have more than enough to get a much needed win at Turf Moor.

Rangnick has decided to manage Ronaldo’s game time which I don’t think is any harm.

Tonight will also be Paul Pogba’s first Premier League start since October.

Confirmed Manchester United XI: De Gea; Dalot, Maguire, Varane, Shaw; McTominay, Pogba, Fernandes; Sancho, Cavani, Rashford.

Up the Reds!
