Ralf Rangnick has named his starting eleven to face Middlesbrough in the FA Cup.
It’s a strong line-up too, with Paul Pogba returning to the team after spending two months out injured.
Dean Henderson starts in goal and it’s a rare appearance for him as far as this season is concerned. Everyone knows how good he is as a keeper, arguably good enough to be first choice, but tonight he gets a chance to stake a claim to the next manager.
Rangnick explained that Henderson merits his start, in the FA Cup against Boro.
“With him, we have a fantastic goalkeeper,” Rangnick said, as per MUTV. “His training performances since I arrived have been outstanding and that’s why I have decided to give him a game tonight in front of a sold-out Old Trafford stadium. He more than deserves that.”

Although we believe there was significant interest, Henderson stayed at United instead of moving to another club on loan in January. It may seem a strange move from United but what if David de Gea was to pick up an injury, would you trust Tom Heaton in a Champions League match?
You need a strong second choice keeper these days.
