Manchester United squad vs Boro: Pogba seen at team hotel

Paul Pogba is back in the matchday squad for the first time since November.

The Frenchman, 28, could make his first appearance under Ralf Rangnick tonight in the FA Cup against Middlesbrough, with the manager clearly excited about the prospect of working with Pogba for the remainder of the season at least.

“Yes, Paul [Pogba] will be part of the group he might even be in the starting XI,” said Rangnick when asked for early team news, as per the Manchester Evening News.

An injury Pogba sustained on international duty has kept him out of action for two months, so he last played for United against Atalanta in the Champions League. He also got sent off in his last domestic game, in the 5-0 drubbing we suffered against Liverpool.

David de Gea was not pictured by MEN photographers arriving at the Hyatt Hotel in Manchester on Friday afternoon, but Dean Henderson, Tom Heaton and Lee Grant all were ahead of the game.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Diogo Dalot have only returned from Dubai but were seen at the hotel, unlike Jesse Lingard and Edinson Cavani, who needed some time off…
