Footage shows Cristiano Ronaldo questioning Ralf Rangnick’s decision to take him off in the second-half against Brentford.
The Reds were leading 2-0 when Ronaldo came off, but the Portuguese superstar had something to say about the manager’s decision because he clearly wanted to stay on the pitch.
At 36, though, it seems pretty logical for Rangnick to manage Ronaldo’s game time as he will want him fresh for Saturday’s Premier League clash against West Ham.

I can understand that Ronaldo wants to play every minute of every game, but he needs to wind down a bit and realise that the manager has a squad of players who aren’t getting results consistently.
Changes are to be expected.
Rangnick was spotted later chatting to Ronaldo — shortly after Marcus Rashford made it 3-0 — and the pair were smiling together.
Heat of the moment stuff.
