Anthony Elanga spoke to BT Sport about his opening goal tonight against Brentford.
The academy graduate explained that these are the moments he works so hard for, and how much he appreciates the manager for giving him the opportunity to perform.
Elanga said: “I want to continue to work hard and get more goals. I appreciate the boss so much. You can see the intensity we put in in training and if you put in the work in training you get the results you deserve.”

He took his goal superbly after a terrific pass from Fred, taking a touch with his foot before heading the ball past the goalkeeper.
Elanga got his second start on the bounce tonight and you can tell he’s really enjoying his football.
The youngster described it as an “honour” to be playing in the same side as Cristiano Ronaldo, who was left furious after being substituted in the second half.
It was a great night for the academy with three graduates getting on the scoresheet.
Mason Greenwood made it 2-0 before Marcus Rashford came off the bench to score United’s third.
