Confirmed Man United lineup vs. Young Boys: No Ronaldo but van de Beek and Amad to start

Following three wins, a draw and one defeat in their first five group matches of this season’s Champions League, Manchester United are safely through to the competition’s knockout phase.

However, with one group game still to play and the possibility of finishing second to Villarreal, interim manager Ralf Rangnick will be keen to ensure the Red Devils see out their group campaign with a decent result against Young Boys on Wednesday.

Although heavily rotated, Manchester United, should, on paper, still have enough about them to see off their Swiss counterparts – especially considering Wednesday night’s game is being played on Old Trafford’s home soil.

Ahead of what is expected to be a decent encounter, Rangnick has named his starting 11 which includes previously out-of-favour midfielder Donny van de Beek, as well as young winger Amad.

Manchester United’s final Champions League group game against Young Boys is scheduled to kick off at 8 pm (UK time) and will be broadcast live on BT Sport.
