Following three wins, a draw and one defeat in their first five group matches of this season’s Champions League, Manchester United are safely through to the competition’s knockout phase.
However, with one group game still to play and the possibility of finishing second to Villarreal, interim manager Ralf Rangnick will be keen to ensure the Red Devils see out their group campaign with a decent result against Young Boys on Wednesday.
Although heavily rotated, Manchester United, should, on paper, still have enough about them to see off their Swiss counterparts – especially considering Wednesday night’s game is being played on Old Trafford’s home soil.
