Ralf Rangnick is expected to make a number of changes tonight when Manchester United take on Young Boys in the final Champions League group stage match.

There is little point putting together our strongest XI for this one as United have already booked their place on top of Group F with a game spare.

This gives the new manager an opportunity to see other players in action, which he probably won’t get to do again until the FA Cup third round tie against Aston Villa. Even at that, he will undoubtedly try to reach the next round!

BBC reporter Simon Stone has an update for us this morning suggesting that Rangnick has already told club media that Amad and Anthony Elanga are in his thoughts for tonight’s game.

Amad has not played a game for the first team since his loan to Feyenoord collapsed in August, while Elana will be looking forward to his Champions League debut. The young Swede in my predicted XI for the game.

It will be an exciting night for both players and we hope they can impress on the biggest stage at Old Trafford.

We also expect the bench to be full of youngsters.
