Ralf Rangnick won’t be in the dugout tomorrow night when Manchester United host Arsenal in the Premier League, but the German is expected to be in attendance, at least in the directors’ box.

Michael Carrick will stand in as caretaker manager for a third match and he told reporters this afternoon that he is willing learn more under the new manager between now and the end of the season.

A few of the suits at the club could learn a thing or two from Rangnick, too, but we should begin to see that in the summer when he moves upstairs into a more consultancy based role.

Today it seems Rangnick has been familiarising himself with his new surroundings at Old Trafford, after being shown around the stadium by football director John Murtough.

Check out the pictures below:

Murtough was partly responsible for appointing Rangnick as he carried out the interviews with Darren Fletcher last week when United began their search for an interim boss.

The pair will work closely together over the coming two years at least.
