Ed Woodward could delay Manchester United departure

Some unwanted news to bring you this morning as Manchester United’s executive vice chairman Ed Woodward could delay his departure from the club in order to help find a new long-term manager.

The Glazer puppet announced in April that he would leave United at the end of the season, following the collapse of the disastrous European Super League, which he would’ve worked on with the Glazer family.

The latest update was brought to us by Sky Sports News and it’s unlikely to please United fans, who don’t want Woodward anywhere near such matters.

Footage below courtesy of Sky Sports, cited by Football Daily:

Woodward has sacked 4 different managers in 8 years – all of which he appointed – and he is about to oversee the appointment of an interim and permanent manager following this week’s dismissal of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

There is not a serious football club in the world that would have him part of these discussions because football is not one of his strengths.

This is a banker we’re talking about, someone who knows how to make coin, not pick the best football managers or run the biggest club in the world.
