Ronaldo and Sancho start: predicted Manchester United line-up vs Watford

Following the dismal 2-0 defeat to Manchester City before the international break, Manchester United are back in action this weekend as they make the trip to London to face Watford.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is under increasing pressure to keep his job at the club, having guided his team to just 17 points after 11 Premier League games this season.

His side’s disastrous form has resulted in some supporters calling for the manager to make drastic changes to his side against Watford but only time will tell if Solskjer is ready to experiment or if he will rely on the same core of players.

Raphael Varane is expected to miss the game through injury and it’s yet unclear whether Luke Shaw will be fit. In midfield, Paul Pogba is suspended.

Further up the pitch, Bruno Fernandes is almost certain to keep his place alongside Cristiano Ronaldo. Jadon Sancho’s positive cameos in the last month paired with two weeks’ full rest will aid his bid to gain a starting spot, whilst Mason Greenwood deserves to start again.

The 20-year-old has been one of United’s biggest threats in the attacking third and offers a different dimension to Solskjaer’s side – the Reds are not nearly as predictable with him on the pitch.

Marcus Rashford withdrew from the England squad last week but it’s not believed to be down to a previous injury. Edinson Cavani could miss the game after pulling out of Uruguay’s World Cup qualifiers.

Predicted Manchester United line-up (4-2-3-1): De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw; McTominay, Fred; Greenwood, Fernandes, Sancho; Rashford

  1. We as fans we need the line-up maybe like this degea, bissaka, lindelof, show, Maguire, Bruno Fernandez,mc Tommy, van de beek, Marcus rashford,cr7, Sancho

  2. Bailey should start ahead of lindelof, there are lots of fringe players Man United need to let off the hook. And the management from head to toe, need to be ruthless when taking decisions and jettison any form of sentiments to get the desired results. And finally, let a win today at Watford not sway our thoughts of replacing Ole, we definitely need a new tactician.
