We’ve seen two really special goals from Manchester United today, but Edinson Cavani can owe that one to Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored the opener past Hugo Lloris.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needed players to add competitive edge today. He may have started with less attackers, to make sure we tighten at the back and across midfielder, but in Ronaldo and Cavani he has an experienced strike force.
Ronaldo played Cavani in and we were never in doubt about whether the Uruguayan would finish.
