“He was unplayable” – Solskjaer picks his Man of the Match from Man Utd’s 3-0 win at Spurs

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team selection will leave him with a feeling of vindication after his side comfortably overturned Tottenham Hotspur away from home.

Solskjaer has been under intense scrutiny over the last week but the defeat against Liverpool provoked changes from the Norwegian, with a three-at-the-back formation preferred against Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.

Scott McTominay was colossal in the 90-minute affair and was picked out for special praise by the manager after the game, as seen below.

“We probably got a Man of the Match performance from Scott McTominay,” he said after the game. “I thought he was outstanding. He was, for me, unplayable.”

Solskjaer will be hoping to build on this performance on Tuesday as they make the trip to Bergamo, with Atalanta waiting in the wings for the replay of last week’s enthralling turnaround win at Old Trafford.

  1. I believe Mctominay can be in class of Scholes and other midfield greats of Man U. I feel he’s not giving his all, his performance is on and off, today he’s an A plus player the next he’s nowhere to be seen. He’s good but can be great.

  2. Was Ole at the game or at the training
field. Not surprising United are battling, needs to include Donny into midfield and get a creative midfielder and no more strikers especially wings, and sell off Harry Maguire. Most important get a new Manager
