Manchester United are set to host Atalanta in their third group stage fixture of this season’s Champions League.
Currently sitting in third place after an opening defeat against Young Boys, followed by a dramatic 2-1 win against Villarreal last time out, the Red Devils will know that Wednesday night’s match is a very important tie.
Not only are United under pressure to perform following just two wins in their last seven outings, in all competitions, there is also mounting pressure on manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to turn the side’s fortunes around.
Gifted with a plethora of attacking talent, should Solskjaer fail to get his Red Devils firing in time for a torrid run of domestic fixtures that includes games against Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City, then the Norweigan will undoubtedly be facing an uncertain future.

However, despite the pressure building, Solskjaer has named a very strong starting 11 for Wednesday’s match against Atalanta.
Although midfielder Paul Pogba has been dropped to the bench, every other name on the side’s starting sheet is as many fans would expect.
However, there is one selection that several fans are not happy with.
Following a recent injury and after seemingly being rushed back to action, club captain and defender Harry Maguire, who had an abysmal match during United’s recent 4-2 defeat against Leicester City, has once again been included in his manager’s first-team plans.
