Manchester United are back in action this weekend as they make the trip to Leicester, the first of several tough fixtures for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad.
The Norwegian boss will oversee a run of 10 games that includes games against Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Tottenham after a relatively comfortable start to the season.
Results have, however, been far from comfortable as United are now winless in their last two games, with dropped points against Aston Villa and Everton both coming at Old Trafford.
Solskjaer has insisted they are ready for the upcoming run of challenging games, arguing it’s a good time to be an attacker for the club amid ‘exciting’ additions to the squad over the summer, as seen below.

“Of course,” he said when quizzed on if the difficult run could bring the best out of his team. “We’ve added some exciting players going forward, I think we’ve scored goals, it’s a nice time to be an attacking player for us.
“We need to keep that going, keep attacking, keep having the Man United DNA, as well as defending well and come together as a team and make sure we’re hard to play against.
“I can’t think Atalanta now, I can’t think Liverpool – it’s only Leicester. That’s gonna probably be the key, that we only focus on one game at a time and maybe spells in games. We’re looking forward to this run. Every good player, all the best players want to play against the best teams and we’ve got some of the best teams coming up.”
