Loads of Manchester United fans like what they see from France midfielder

Aurelien Tchouameni’s rise as France’s next midfield star has got the newshound hunting.

Where next for the AS Monaco starlet?

Yes, another brilliant young player produced by the well-respected football academy in Monaco, has done it again.

Tchouameni deputised for the injured N’Golo Kante for France and helped his side a UEFA Nations League win — now it has emerged in the media that United have their eye on the midfielder.

He played alongside Paul Pogba in midfield, so is that a connection worth building on? That depends on how long his agent Mino Raiola keeps him around for.

The 21-year-old made four interceptions against Spain, more than any midfielder on the pitch, and United are in desperate need of someone who can break up play and put us on the front foot throughout games.

Pogba has put Tchouameni under his wing on the international stage, telling Madein Foot: “Very very good. He’s not a boy, he’s a man.

“Pleasure to play next to him. He brings a lot of energy. A lot of energy, extraordinary technical and physical quality.

“We wish him to play lots of matches, and that I am always at his side.”

Tchouameni was rewarded with a start against Spain in the final and the French came out on top.

Ole, Ole sign him up?

Could Tchouameni be the one to replace Pogba and finally sort United’s midfield, even though we know both together would be for the best?
