Cristiano Ronaldo completed a sensational return to Manchester United over the summer and the 36-year-old has wasted no time in rediscovering the form he had when he left the club in 2009 to join Real Madrid.
Ronaldo scored twice on his ‘second debut’ against Newcastle last month and has now scored five in six games since his second coming at Old Trafford was confirmed.
International team-mate and now club rival Bernardo Silva, who is a regular for Manchester City, has reacted to Ronaldo’s return to the Premier League, insisting it’s a ‘good move’ for the superstar.
Furthermore, Silva also made no secrets out of his desire to trump Ronaldo at Manchester United, arguing he will ‘work very hard’ to do so.
🗣 "It's a good move for him. Hopefully, we can beat him."

“It’s a good move for him,” he told Football Daily, as seen above, according to the Manchester Evening News.
“It’s his choice and a good move for him. He played at Man United when he was younger and it’s nice, almost at the end – I don’t know when he is going to finish – to go back to Man United. But hopefully, we can beat him. We are going to work very hard to beat him.”
