Manchester United winger Amad Diallo was set to join Feyenoord on loan in the closing stages of this summer’s transfer window but a move collapsed after the Ivorian sustained an injury in training with the Old Trafford club.
Amad ended up staying at Manchester United as a result and has been working his way back to full fitness. The exciting young winger made his first-team debut for the club earlier this calendar year and scored his first goal in the Europa League tie with Milan.
Journalist and transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has now offered an update on the situation, as the 19-year-old is close to recovering from the problem which kept him from completing the season-long arrangement with the Dutch giants.

According to Romano, Amad is preparing to join full training with his Manchester United teammates this month, with full participation expected in 10 days.
Furthermore, a temporary move away from the club could be explored further when the next transfer window opens in January, with many clubs said to be interested.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has an embarrassment of riches in wide areas and Jadon Sancho’s arrival won’t have made it easier for Amad, who could benefit from a loan move.
