Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof, who was named as Sweden’s national team’s new captain during the last international break in September, has yet to make the trip to his home country for this week’s World Cup qualifiers.
The 27-year-old started last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Everton but despite being called up by Janne Andersson’s side for games against Kosova and Greece, Lindelof has been spotted in full training at Manchester United’s training ground.
The picture is seen below, as published by the official Manchester United website, and shows the defender walking onto the training field with Marcus Rashford, who is back in full training after recovering from surgery on his shoulder.
The club has clarified that Lindelof has yet to link up with his international teammates due to personal circumstances, but exact reasoning is not provided.
